Progress

Just have a few more inches of the turtleneck to complete and then weave in the ends. This rainy weather should cooperate with that.
Started this mid-february on a plane to the midwest. It is my first sweater, and it is the Cable Yoke Sweater from Vogue Knitting Holiday 2011. The wool is Cascade 220 Tweed. The photos make the red much brighter than it actually is. Actual color is a much deeper brick red.

In celebration of the Emerald Isle

These are the first socks I ever made. Split-toe pattern adapted from "Tops and Toes," Happy Feet merino sock yarn in emerald. I wish I had taken more pictures before I totally wore them in. They get a LOT of wear!

March On...

Just the turtleneck portion to finish. Enjoying every minute of my first sweater. Hopefully I will be done in time to get some wear while the weather is still cool.... check back!
